The Common CBR

The Common Canberra is an affordable, blank-canvas event venue located at 210 Northbourne Ave in the heart of Canberra City. The stylish boutique space features high ceilings, neutral wood-look flooring, and floor-to-ceiling windows with elegant black frames. The interior includes white walls with exposed white-painted brick and VJ paneling throughout. The venue offers a flexible indoor space combined with an outdoor courtyard that features lush greenery and festoon lighting. It can accommodate 100 seated guests indoors or up to 150 guests when utilizing the courtyard. Primarily a DIY venue for weddings, parties, corporate events, and community gatherings, it also offers options for full catering, staffing, and styling, as well as a BYO option. Specific hire items include a "Chill Cart" station for champagne, slushies, candy, wine, and snacks.
