Princes Wharf No. 1 (PW1) is a versatile waterfront event venue located in Hobart's historic Salamanca Precinct, a five-minute walk from the CBD. Managed by the Hobart Function & Conference Centre, the facility features a large interior shed measuring 27.3m x 99m, a 74m x 41m forecourt, and an esplanade deck. The venue offers the following features and capacities: - Event capacity ranging from 50 to 1,300 seated guests for dinners or up to 4,000 guests for standing functions. - A "blank canvas" interior design with opulent chandeliers, fine furnishings, and flexible seating arrangements. - Fully heated indoor space suitable for year-round use. - On-site facilities including a state-of-the-art commercial kitchen, restrooms, and accessibility features like level internal access for vehicle entry. - An outdoor forecourt with a 28m x 28m formal square, retractable seating for 700, and an interactive LED light sculpture. - Supporting services such as in-house catering, event management, and equipment hire.
