Glen Ewin Estate is a heritage-listed wedding and event venue established in 1843, located in the Adelaide Hills, Houghton. The 70-acre property features sandstone buildings, manicured gardens, sweeping lawns, lakes, an orchard with over 12,000 fig trees, and native woodland. It offers two primary event spaces: the Pulpshed, a rustic 181-year-old venue with timber beams and a 380-guest standing capacity, and the Gatehouse, a modern facility with panoramic views, floor-to-ceiling glass doors, and a deck overlooking a pond. The estate provides in-house catering, personalized wedding planning guides, and is a multi-award-winning venue, including recognition for best wedding coordinator. Additional features include on-site wine and gin tastings at the Gatehouse Bar, high tea services, and secure wine storage. While no on-site accommodation is available, the venue is approximately 30 minutes from the Adelaide CBD and offers free parking and wheelchair accessibility.
