About
Chateau Wyuna is a heritage-listed wedding venue situated on six acres of natural bushland and landscaped gardens at the foothills of the Dandenong Ranges in Mount Evelyn. The property features a 1909 country-style chapel, a 1920s log cabin used as a bridal retreat, and four ceremony locations including two outdoor gardens (Waterfall and Garden Terrace) and two indoor spaces (The Chapel and Treetop Room). It offers two reception rooms: the Burgundy Room, which seats up to 150 guests and features fairy lights over a dance floor, and the Treetop Room, which accommodates up to 80 guests with panoramic garden views.
The venue operates on a policy of hosting only one wedding at a time to ensure exclusive use of the grounds. All-inclusive packages typically include a 5 or 6-hour event duration, ceremony setup, catering, beverages, a wedding coordinator, and a Master of Ceremonies. Specific dining options include the Melba (traditional sit-down), Wyuna (table buffet), and Lancaster (central buffet) packages. Micro wedding packages are also available for 25 to 50 guests. Amenities include onsite parking, a chauffeured transfer service within 20km for select upgrades, and flexible in-house or external catering options. Prices vary by season and day, with adult rates ranging from approximately $130 to $170.
